My life since graduation:
Graduated form Middle Tennessee in 1964.
Appointed Second Lieutenant, Regular Army, Infantry.
Served for 28 years retiring in 1992 with the rank of
Lieutenant Colonel. Served tours of duty at Fort
Belvoir, Va, Fort Bragg, NC, Fort Rucker, Ala, Fort
Knox, Ky, Fort Benning, Ga and Fort Benjamin Harrison,
In. Attended the following schools, Airborne, Ranger,
Engineer Officer Basic, Fixed Wing and Helicopter
Schools, Armor Officer Advanced Course and Command And
General Staff College. Masters Degree from Troy State.
Overseas tours--Viet Nam, Thailand, Formosa, Germany,
Italy, Belgium and Turkey. Staff and Faculty at the
Aviation Center, Armor School, Infantry School and
Chairman of the Army ROTC program at Indiana University/
Purdue University, Indianapolis. Served in Army
Recruiting Command and Director of Operations for
Department of Defense in support of the 10th Pan
American Games. After retiring from the Army worked in
the Insurance and Mortgage business, Indianapolis Public
School, Hamilton Southeastern School, Carmel Clay School
Systems and Indiana University/Purdue University. I
still stay active by working 3 days a week as an
accident investigator for a legal firm.
Now that you are totally bored, I'll tell you about the
real important part of my life! I married Jacqueline Ann
Henderson my Junior year at Central (she attended the
old Kirkman High School) Tony our oldest son, who in now
a minister in Oregon was born our senior year, Keith
Edward came along a month after we graduated from Middle
Tennessee in May 1964. He resides in Indianapolis and is
in the Food Service Business. We have two grandsons and
