Fondest memories of your days at Central:
Memories, many wonderful memories! It seems like only yesterday but it has been a half a century.  It doesn't seem possible.  Will never forget several of us hanging the city high football coach in effigy on their flag pole one night!  Winning the baseball state championship our senior year.  Standing around the rotunda.  Everyone enjoyed that!  Ball games, school spirit!  The kids today don't have school spirit like Central High.  The leadership and guidance given by so many of the teachers!

My life since graduation:
Rachel Temple and I were married in 1961 while we were both in college.  She was at Mississippi College for Women and I was attending the University of Kansas on a baseball grant in aid.  She put her education on hold and we started married life in Lawrence, KS. She later returned to school, finished, and taught school in Franklin County for 25 years until her death in 2000. We lived in Tullahoma for 22 years but relocated in Winchester, TN on Tims Ford Lake in 1988 and I still live there.  We were married almost 39 years.  We have one son, Kevin, he is a Lt. Col. in the Tennessee Army National Guard.  He has been deployed 3 times, once in Iraq and twice in Afghanistan.  Kevin is currently serving as the commander of the 181st Field Artillery Battalion in Chattanooga. Kevin married a young lady from Nashville and they live about 3 miles from me.  He has two daughters which are both in high school.  The oldest will be a senior this year and is quite a runner.  She has 2 state championships in cross country.

In 1964, I started work at the Arnold Engineering Development Center (AEDC) where I worked for over 32 years in Information Technology.  I started as a computer operator, advanced to programmer/analyst, database administrator (DBA) and finally managed the DBA area for over 12 years.  I retired at AEDC in 1996 and went into consulting.  I worked contracts in D.C., Oklahoma, and Chattanooga.  In 2000, I was elected to Who's Who of Information Technology.  I've been retired for about 7 years now.  I'm looking forward to seeing each and everyone of you at the reunion.

The Lord has richly blessed me! I give HIM credit for anything that I have accomplished in my life.  I pray for his guidance in my life. One of my pastor's sermons concluded with the phrase "ask yourself, what would Jesus do"?  I fail sometimes but I try to let him lead me in the path he wishes me to follow.  God bless each and everyone one and I hope to see you on the 23rd and 24th.
