My life since graduation:
Following graduation, I spent 5 years in the U.S. Air Force in Denver, Fairbanks, Alaska, and Washington, D.C.  Fortunately, I was able to serve our country without making the sacrifice that many did in Southeast Asia.  I was
very lucky and got in on the ground floor of the IBM computer revolution during the 1960's which became the foundation of my career in Information Technology.  I married Frankie, my wonderful wife of 36 years (Tyner H.S.), and moved to the Washington D.C. area.

We returned to Chattanooga in 1968 and I joined Hamilton National Bank as a computer programmer and assumed, that like most bankers, would advance to vice president and retire there.  I enrolled at UTC and life was good.  Both of our daughters, Stacey (30) and Kimberly (24) were born in Chattanooga.   First Tennessee bought the assets of Hamilton Bank during their bankruptcy in 1976 and made me an offer I couldn't refuse, including a transfer to beautiful downtown Memphis and off we went to live in Germantown, TN.

In 1981, I accepted a Vice President position at a large mortgage banking firm in Dallas,TX.  Three years later, not able to stand prosperity, I joined Diebold, the ATM manufacturer, and relocated to Atlanta. I am currently Director of Professional Services for Diebold and have been with them for 18 years now.

Life has been kind to me and my family.  Stacey is a Georgia Tech Industrial Engineer, is married, and works for Siemens in Atlanta.  Kimberly has a B.A. from Valdosta State and is with Dreams Come True in Jacksonville, FL. No grandchildren yet, but what the heck, lots of time left!  I manage to play a few rounds of golf and even got my scuba certification a few years ago.

I have lost touch over the years and am listed as "missing" but hopefully, this will put me back in the "found" category! I have to admit that the before and after photos give me a little insight into how Rip Van Winkle felt....40 years, go figure!

Good luck to all.....
