What teacher most influenced you? Mrs. Reba Fults |
Which
reunions have you attended? 10th, 35th, 40th |
Which did you enjoy most?
None. No one acted comfortable around me. I guess knowing I was a cop and how they treated me for 6 years, (56 - 62) and some 6 years of grammar school also. |
| My life since graduation: In my senior year I worked after school and on Saturdays at the 3rd St. Red Store where I met my future wife, a girl from City High in Sept. '61. We were both 17. We married March 15, 1963, 41 years ago, having just turned 19. We had one son. In 1966 I joined the Chattanooga Police Dept. Had much excitement, pain, thrills, chills, sorrow, but no honor for my years of blood, sweat and tears. I'm proud as a game rooster to have served. I saved lives, put many vicious criminals in prison. After the 1997 reunion I called many classmates, some married to classmates, attempting to be friendly but they got rid of me quicker than a Jew can get rid of a Jehovah's Witness. WHY? Don't understand ~ same as in high school, as you can see by the 2nd poem I wrote in the winter of 1998. But, I am a Christian and forgive them. Maybe God will tell me why on Judgment Day.
