Fondest memories of your days at Central: |
| My life since graduation: Hey, Classmates. After graduating I attended UC for a couple of years, then transferred to the University of Georgia. After graduating in '66 I went into the Marines. After that, I worked for a couple of regional planning councils in Atlanta and Dalton. I came to Greenville in 1976 to work for the SC Appalachian Council of Governments. I became director of the agency in 1988 and worked there until September 28, 2006, when I retired. I wrote a novel "Love Among The Greeks" that was published in the spring of 2006 and plan to spend my time now writing full time. My stepdaughter gave me a grandson in 2005. I love being a grandfather. My son married earlier this year and maybe I'll be a grandfather again, if I'm lucky. My wife, Vicki, and I enjoy life in Greenville, South Carolina. Update: January 19, 2009 I'm still writing. My second novel is under consideration for representation by a literary agency, and I'm editing a third. I have another grandson, Owen, who's ten months old and lives in Flagstaff, AZ. Brody, the four-year-old is here in Greenville and keeps me busy and happy. I wish Owen was closer. Feel free to visit my website at www.bobstrother.net. Update: September 24, 2010 Hey, Classmates. After graduating I attended UC
