Fondest memories of your days at Central:

My life since graduation:

After graduating from Central, I attended East Tennessee State University in Johnson City. Carol Sue Averitt, Carolyn Cope, Donna Rodric, and Carrie Himes were my suitemates/roommates during our freshman year.  I married David when we were sophomores at ETSU.  We have lived in the following places: Johnson City (6 years)--> Tucson, AZ (5 years) -->El Paso, TX (8 years) --> Jacksonville, TX (3 years)--> El Paso (3 years) -->  Jacksonville, TX (17 years). We moved to Lenoir City, TN in 2005 to be closer our families.

We have been married 46+ years and have two children, Alaine and David, Jr.  Alaine (who earned a degree in biomedical engineering from TX A&M) and her husband, Frank, and our two granddaughters, Sarah and Samantha, live in Farragut, TN.  Alaine works for Siemans, and Sarah is beginning her freshman year at Tennessee Tech. David and his wife Michelle live in Atlanta, GA where he completed his PhD in theology at Emory University.  He now teaches theology at Mercer University

I retired in 1999 after being an educator for 28 years.  I graduated from ETSU in 1965 and earned my M.Ed. from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1992. I have been an English and math teacher and was Director of Technology for the local school district when I retired.  Dave retired in 2000 from Cardinal Health Care where he was Vice President of Manufacturing.

We own a motor home and enjoy traveling. My hobbies include quilting, reading, watercolors, and spoiling our grandchildren.

I have not attended any other reunions but am looking forward to our 50th.
