On February 17, 2012, the Tennessee Historical Commission, unanimously approved our application to erect a State of Tennessee Historical Marker at 500 Dodds Avenue recognizing the historical significance of Chattanooga Central High School.

Coordination for a public ceremony in July, 2012 to dedicate this memorial to our beloved school is underway.

The Reunion will be on Friday & Saturday, October 12 &13, 2012.
If anyone has moved, or whatever...........PLEASE update your info.

If you know of someone else, (moved, deceased, or whatever) please let us know, or tell them to contact us.
We are receiving a "LOT" of cards back with "NO" forwarding address.
Some, we have been able to track down, and correct.

Also, if anyone is in the Chattanooga area, (short drive, or passing thru)....the 2nd Thursday of each month is the "Alumni Luncheon".
One of the Alums drives up from Marietta, GA., about 140 miles one way, each month.

The 50th Reunion Planning Committee has begun making plans for our reunion in 2012. Check back often at this website for more details as they become available. The committee is looking at the month of October 2012. Please pass this information to any classmates in your address book. Also, check the "Missing Classmates" page and let us know if you know the whereabouts of anyone listed.

Yes, it's time for another 50th Reunion Planning Committee meeting!

It has been suggested to me that as we are “getting older” and it is getting dark earlier and some people have trouble driving at night, how about having our meetings on Saturday? Saturday morning or afternoon?

Yes, believe it or not, it will be time for our 50^th reunion before we know it!

SO, we would like as many classmates as possible to attend a planning meeting. Plan to be there and ask any classmate you know who might be interested in working on the committee. We need some new and fresh ideas for a great reunion.
