What are your fondest memories of Chattanooga Central High School?
I went to Central from the seventh through the twelfth and the true school spirit was always evident all those years. We had a great principal. I remember being sent to the principal's office with Bryant Millsaps for talking once during Jr. High. Thankfully his dad was not there and Mr. O'Neal only gave us a warning.
My Life Since Graduation
After marrying Jerry Mayfield we traveled while in the Army. After returning from Viet Nam we lived in Chattanooga until Jerry surrendered to the ministry in 1980. We went to Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth and have served in many areas of service. Before retiring in 2006 Jerry served as Associate Pastor of Fielder Road Baptist Church in Arl, Texas for 21 years. We have a son, Brian, 36, Associate Pastor in Wichita, Kansas married to Morgan, children, Libby 8 and Nathan 4.  Our other son, Brent, 32, lives in Ft.
