My Life Since Graduation
BS Engineering Physics from Georgia Tech co-op program, worked in geophysical department at Texaco for 4 years, worked on artificial cigarette project (Premier) at RJR Tobacco for 3-1/2 years, 30+ years working in synthetic graphite materials research with Great Lakes Carbon (later SGL Carbon) the largest carbon and graphite materials producer worldwide.  Traveled extensively in NA and Europe during technical service.  Married 15 years first time, 22 years second time.  Raised two boys with a total of 9 grandchildren.  Both families live in upper East Tennessee within 20 miles of my home. Good pension and insurance while waiting for medicare/medicade to kick in at 65 in spite of continued good health makes for an enjoyable retirement to date.
