| What teacher most influenced you? Mr. Millsaps and Mr. Johns |
| Who were your best friends at Central? Patty, Linda, Alva Jo, Judy, Tommy, and many others |
| What is your most memorable experience at the
reunions? I have only been to a few, but I thoroughly enjoyed seeing old friends. |
| What
are your fondest memories of Chattanooga Central High School? Football games, glee club, dances, gathering at the rotunda, basketball games, parties after the football games, skateboarding on the weekends I do recall one English teacher who had a profound impact on my life. At the time, it seemed negative; however, it resulted in helping to shape my life. She would not allow me to be in an advanced English class because she thought that I would not go to college. This event changed the way I have worked with children for the last 40 years. I believe that anyone can accomplish whatever they want if they work hard and set goals for themselves. While at the time, this could have resulted in me feeling defeated; however, I think this event helped to propel me to reach goals in my life. |
