The BBQ

1A - Things went smoothly thanks to student volunteers like Cindy Barnett, Amelia Hickman, and Megan Huffer.
1B - Janette Castle Crawley, former CHS Home-Ec teacher, goes through the BBQ line with her husband, Mack. Both are graduates from the Class of 1951.
1C - Everyone seemed to enjoy the food and fellowship at the BBQ.
1D - James Coulter, cheerleader from the Class of 1951, helps pump up the crowd at the pep rally.

2A 2B 2C
2A - The alumni cheerleaders join the current cheerleaders to prove that they still know the pom-pom routine to the fight song!
2B - The BBQ and pep rally come to an end as everyone joins in to sing the Alma Mater.
2C - The alumni chorus, led by choral director, Judy Reich, sings the National Anthem at the pre-game show.

3A 3B 3C
3A - The Central High Quarterback Club honored Coach John Crawford, Class of 1968, by presenting the new hammer and anvil in his name.  Pictured with Coach Crawford is his son, Michael, and his wife, Jane.
3B - Alumni football players served as Honorary Captains and walked onto the field for the coin toss.
3C - The alumni football players leave the field after the coin toss.

The Trade Center

3A 3B 3C
3A - The first of eight tables full of Central High memorabilia.  This table features a gym uniform from 1927, photos and graduation announcements, a ticket to the 1921 Central vs City game, and bricks from the original building on Dodds Avenue.
3B - These memorabilia tables feature items from the 1960's through the 1980's.
3C - Sisters Bettye Hughes Moore '48 and Barbara Hughes Kendall '51 enjoy the evening together.

4A - Susan Watkins Kendall, Class of '78, prepares to introduce our Mr. and Miss Central honorees.
4B - Jerry Summers accepts a shadowbox containing a letter written to him by former coach, E. B. Etter. Presenting the shadowbox are Ed Test and Terrell Dye.
4C - With the help of the Central High ROTC, Ruth Wheeler Muerth, Miss Central 1939, is the first to be introduced.
4D - Miss Central 1967, Nancy Feagans Harlows, is escorted by classmate Doug Michlink.

5A - For the Kendalls, the Central reunion became a family reunion.  Seated:  Fred Newton, Doris Kendall Newton '52, Marcy Newton '73, Teresa Newton Parker '76.  Standing L to R:  Susan Watkins Kendall '78, Rusty Kendall '77, Kevin Kendall '06, Megan Kendall, Lauren Kendall Messar '02, Prince Kendall '49, Betty Kendall Mitchell '57 and Ronnie Kendall '61.
5B - Our Alumni Association President, James Walker, and his wife, Debbie Creekmore Walker.  Both are graduates of the Class of 1984.

6B - The island was a great location for the picnic.
