CONGRATULATIONS TO Moosie - Carol Pribble
aka Moosie won the prestigious award for Income
Development from the South Atlantic Division of the
American Cancer Society for 2009. Carol was
presented the award by Executive Director of the Central
Virginia office, Nadine Malpas, at this year's Relay for
Life of Mechanicsville on June 5. She was
unanimously selected from thousands of volunteers for
her fundraising accomplishments and her work as Chairman
of the Volunteer Leadership Council in Central Virginia.
The Smackdown Cancer Fighters team, started by beloved
grandson, Roo in 2005, reached an awesome goal this year
of collecting over $100,000 total. This year the
team raised over $20,000! "We would have never
done this had it not been for our precious Roo. He
deserves all the honor and glory. Our goal is to
honor Roo's memory and to help others. Also, Poppo,
(Bascom) deserves the award as much as I do, since he
and I work together on all of our fundraising."

The mission statement of the "Smackdown Cancer Fighters"
is to honor Roo by helping others so that very soon the
suffering will stop!
This website is dedicated to the memory of Richard Goodall, Jr. (Roo). "Let this help all the other children so they do not have to suffer".
Please support the Association for the Support of Children with Cancer (ASK), and the American Cancer Society (Relay for Life). |
