The following article was published on the front page of the Mechanicsville Local Wednesday, February 23, 2005.

The following newspaper article was published in the Richmond Times Dispatch on July 25, 2004.  When this picture was taken for the paper, it seemed that his 5 year battle with this terrible disease was over. However, between the time the picture was taken and the article was published, Richard was sick again.  Now Richard is fighting a new battle and needs the support and prayers of everyone as he continues his brave and courageous battle.

Please take a minute to say a prayer for Richard and keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers as you go about your daily lives.
